After a rainy week, it's sunny today, and things are drying out. The ground is loving the moisture, but we were hoping for a little bit more time to enjoy Indian Summer.
The roses are putting on their end of summer show.
The succulents have put on a burst of growth - as if they're enjoying the sudden colder weather, which seems odd.
There's not a lot of fall color, but that's just the nature of things here.
I'm running out of time to get my projects done. The futon does have its waterproof cover, but it may have to be moved off the deck and into the greenhouse, if it is going to survive the winter.
(Looking back on that statement, it may seem odd, but this is an area where the climate is mild, albeit rainy, all year long. You can pretty much leave things out - EXCEPT things that you don't want to get wet. This is an area where we hoped global warming was real, because then we could grow bougainvillea, and corn and tomatoes.)

Snow! Easter!

(2011 - we had snow again, this is getting to be an every year thing instead of an every 7 or 8 year thing... snow at sea level, and record cold temperatures all over the nation. Snow in San Diego last night, too.)

It's snowing!

Again. This storm out of Alaska is bringing snow to the north coast. For the second year in a row. Though this is normally a rare occurrence.
We're keeping the bird feeders filled, suet out, and brought the rabbit inside.

Stupendous weather.
Two gorgeous warm sunny days in a row. A break from the rain and fog. Hot enough the kids wanted to run through the sprinklers. Not unexpected, we get nice long Indian summers usually, or real bad storms are late Dec. through Mar. I'd say.

Nice and hot.
Still hazy smokey, but 80 degrees in the shade. (I know it sounds cool to you when it it 114 in some areas, but this is really hot for us.
